order now...ship later?

Hi

I couldn't find this on the website but you guys got a small Foxface Lo and I was wondering if its possible to order it now to get one saved and have it shipped later when I can get a day off?

Thank you for your interest in the magnificent Foxface Lo we are currently offering. We are able to hold you order for this specimen for up to 2 weeks, though we are unable to guarantee that the specimen will be available when you are ready to receive the order. Please document in the “Notes For This Order” area when you would like the order to be shipped.

not to be rude, but I'm confused. You say you can hold it but that you can't promise it'll be in stock so basically you can't hold it because you don't know if it'll be in stock?? So I guess I should wait till I know when I'll be off to order it?

Thank you for your post. We apologize for any confusion on the subject of holding an order and hope to clarify this for you. Our facility ships specimens daily and does not have an actual holding area designated to hold fish for specific ship dates.

Our computer system has the capability of holding the order with a targeted ship date. Therefore when the order is shipped out per customer’s requested ship date, the items on the order possibly could attain back order status.

Working with live items necessitates unique procedures as compared to hard good items. We continually strive for the best balance possible with availability concerns.
