Order of adding tangs?

LOL What size tank? That makes a big difference. ANY tang given the proper environment will grow 'fast'. 3 tangs in a 75 is as nutty as a squirrel turd.

Just another one of those useless 'I'm pretending to ask for advice but going to do it anyway' threads.

completly agree.. If your tangs only grew half an inch in a year something is up. Either diet, tank size, stress ect.

The problem with the question of "order" is that the dynamics of multiple fish changes over time. What is best now may be problematical in the future. If the goal is to avoid having fish killed immediately, then I would introduce a powder blue last. BUT, fish behavior changes over time and the greater the fish feels constrained in a comparable ecological niche with a competitor, the quicker that fish's behavior will change for the worse. It is very difficult to predict the size of a fishes perceived constraint. In the wild, it is irrelevant, in our tanks, it is real but unpredictable.

WOW, this thread is typical of why I quit asking questions on RC. Everytime a question is asked there are way too many people who BS about the subject instead of answering the question. As in this particular case, I would expect someone to state that it is not adviseable to put that many tangs in your tank. However, if you have researched the subject and feel that you wish to proceed then i would advise you put them in this order...

And by the way, I have maintained 6 healthy tangs in my 5' long 150G for a long time so don't say it cannot be done !!! And if you are from the TANG POLICE - Show me your badge...
