Order of adding?

Heres what I have now in my 75:

4- Green chromis 1''
2- Percula clowns 1''
1- Royal gramma 1 1/2''
1- Scopas tang 2''

What order should I add these fish:

2- Firefish 1-2''
1- Regal tang 1-2''


Please don't comment on the amount of fish in the tank. I do know I've got a pretty big list with fish that will get large but Until they start to get big I'm not going to worry about them. Thats always an excuse to upgrade.

Definitely put the tang last. As a good rule-of-thumb always put the more passive fish in first.

Would the 1-2'' regal be fine with the 2'' scopas I have now?

I wouldnt do the tang, the number isnt the issue, its the space with the 2 tangs. maybe some other than a another tang?

It's between a regal tang, Powdered Blue, or a Blue Throat trigger.

Oops didn't see your tank size before. I agree with NC - no more tangs.

Also, the blue throat would probably stress out the other fish you currently have and would eventually outgrow the tank. They are very active fish and need a lot of space.

out of those 3 only? then none. the tangs need space that you dont have. and the trigger will likely be highly aggresive towards your current fish. A powder blue doesnt belong in a 75 alone, let alone with fish. Have you thought about others? Does it have to be such large fish also?

Heres other fish that caught my eye:

Flame angel
Helfrichi Firefish ( Only $150 )
Lyretail Anthias

Any of those would be fine in your tank. Keep in mind that firefish are jumpers so you need to have the tank well covered.

Anthias are beautiful, but don't have a great track record. They're "finicky" and sometimes die for no apparent reason. They seem to do best in established reef tanks with a lot of live rock.

if you can get that firefish for 150, I say jump on it.

I'm thinking about getting one once the qt is done cycling. I would have to make sure the water is perfect though.
