Origin of Collection?

Hello,
So, I have not bought any critters online yet. I was looking at some of these animals at LiveAquaria and they have different item numbers for the different origins of collection. Is there any difference between the locations for most animals; or any animals? Is there some idea of one locations being more desirable?
For example, the Trapezia Pocillopora/Acropora Crab can come from Maldives or Indonesia. Does anyone have any experience/knowledge on the subject?

the different numbers is due to different vendors they buy from, even when the origin of collection is the same.

I have heard to stay away from Indonesia due to their collection practices (possible cyanide, don't know how true this is). Places I like to get from is Hawaii, Maldives, Red Sea, and Sri Lanka if I am able to choose. Also some species may have different coloration or characteristics from different places.

color of some fish are different also when collected from different parts of the world.
