original apex owners - how do u connect?

i have an original full apex, its accessible on the home network. now i want access it on my phone. dyndns is not free and i dont have a pc at all..or a machine thats on 24x7...or even on the home network..

what do you use to connect over the internet/phone?

j/k dont really need it now I guess. its been working for 4+ years just cant get to the setup page by entering the ip; pings ok though

Any one connecting home lights to their apex here, can I pick your brain for a hint or two?

existing recessed ceiling lights, I want to hook it up so it can controlled as a means of away on vacation deterrant. i used the X10 modules in the past but they were notoriously unreliable

I use Insteon throughout my house. I was an early adopter 10+ y ago and it was the only DIY game in town besides the old X10. Much more reliable, but not perfect.
