ORP Probe and calibration

Ok,

I have an ACIII and am using ozone so I felt unsecure about the "not" calibration method so I went out and bought the calibration elements (Ph 4.0 solution, pH 7.0 solution and quinhydrone.

I wish I had done this before I calibrated the first time (i.e. displayed whatever the factory settings were), but here are two images for you:

Now I'm definitly thankful I got the calibration solutions nd I don't really belive the "just use it without calibration" line anymore. DOn't get me wrong I love their product, just don't aggree with that line.

Just as a side note. The Oxidation/reduction reactions in salt water causes a lot more ofset of the measurment than calibration itself, that is why is not that critical or necessary to calibrate the probe. The main thing to look after is drops or rises in ORP reading from wherever the reading point has stabilized itself at.
