What gives man? I have a cool osci clown who started out looking normal, but as he's getting bigger he is turning black. What's up with that?

My Ocellaris only tinted on it's upper half. You sure that's an Ocellaris and not a True Percula?

Shawn, they both have black eyes that is the first clue to Percula or Ocellaris, Ocellaris have totally black eyes and Percula's have orange around the black pupil.

Maybe a mix of a black and normal ocellaris? I have 2 juvenile black ocellaris and they're a tinge orange but a lot more black than anything. Juvenile blacks will have orange then turn all black except for around the mouth when they grow older. Yours seems very orange but just a bit of black ocellaris in him, thats why he would be slowly turning darker.

Don't worry-that happened to two of mine too. I think that they must be a funny mix that the store didn't tell me about-long story short, they're both happy and healthy and after a while they turn almost all black. I think it looks kind of cool.
