oscillating powerhead

just had a crazy idea and wondering if anybody has put it into action.

Take the oscillating motor from a fan, or make your own, then attach it upside down by the lights, and hook up a powerhead on a pipe of pvc

It would be like a fan oscillating upside down under water!!

Anybody done anything like this?

Well I guess it wasn't a crazy idea after all.

I like the boxed equipment on that though, i didn't think of that.

Not a crazy idea, but also nothing new.

While the company is no longer around, but what you describe used to be on the market called a
Osci-wave back in the mid 90s. I'm pretty sure they were even around before Sea-swirls.
