Osmolater question

Hi, I have searched and searched and can't find the answer to these questions about the osmolater -

1. Can the reservoir be below the sump?
2. I don't have much room in my stand, where can the reservoir be located from the tank?
3. How far can the actual control box and in sump gizmos be mounted away from the sump (how long are the wires?)?



Sorry about all the questions, its just that I live in the country and will be purchasing online and its very hard never having seen one or read much about them.

Is there any way I can download the instruction manual for it?
That might give me some more info.

As always any information and help is greatly appreciatted.

The osmo pump can pump up 3m. As for horizontal run, I don't know exactly but suspect 5m plus 2m up should be OK- you only get 3m of hose though so you may need to buy extra. The sensor cables are 2m, the pump cable is 1.5m.

In all honesty I think you should be able to get one from an Australian dealer just as soon as otherwise. They are definitely in short supply and I would expect a wait of 6 weeks- possibly longer with shipping. You have a new exclusive distributor in Australia and I expect supply will improve except for the complexities of long distance shipping causing periodic shortages and also the production issues that would affect all dealers.
