Osmolator Failing?

I'm not sure if it's the unit or the pump, but I'm guessing the unit is acting up.

This only happens in situation where the pump will be on for a while... the pump will start on and then it will peter out and you can hear it getting slower and phasing out.... the light is still yellow, but it looks like the pump is not getting enough power??? I then can unplug the unit and replug it back in and sometimes it will pump again for a few seconds then die out.

Thoughts?

This is more typically caused by the wiring or connector having corroded or the PTC element of the board having failed. This PTC is essentially a circuit breaker, if the pump uses too much power the contact inside seperates and it does so slowly so the pump slows to a stop. It is a safety that prevents the pump from taking so much power the circuit board cannot even run its basic functions. I would first check that the pump connector is not corroded, I would also try cutting back the wires, if they are blackened you will need to cut back until you reach shiny copper. If this still doesn't solve it, it is the PTC and the controller has to be sent in to have this replaced.
