Osmolator Issue

My Tunze Osmolator auto top off is having issues.

The sensor doesn't appear to be working any longer. I've cleaned it and everything, however the level light on the controller stays on even when it is completely out of water and it no longer kicks the pump on.

Is there a way to fix this or do I have to buy a completely new unit?

Thanks
Brandon

How old is the controller? Have you tried just soaking the sensor in vinegar to remove any mineral film, if it looks cloudy when dry it is still not clean of all minerals or it has been scuffed. The sensor can be replaced if that is the problem, it would need to be sent in, but there are other issues that can cause this.

It is about two years old.

The sensor has been soaked in vinegar and appears to still be clear.

I don't mind sending it in for service if that is required. Today the green level light is just staying on and it never kicks the pump on.

Steps i've tried.
1) Clean the sensor
2) Unplug and reset

Neither worked.

Other info
1) If I raise the float alarm it will wound and change the light to red, so my guess is the issue is with the water level sensor if this helps at all.

Yes, that sounds like a bad sensor, send it in and I will replace it.

Nope, I have one employee and he ships it and recieves it and takes count of the inventory and handles the production work and I do everything else. It will come to me and I will do the repair.
