Osmolator Problems

So after switching tanks and my osmolator from one tank to another it decided to quit working. It is about 3 yrs old and was working great until I had it down for about a week. Now when I hook it up no matter what the Alarm and Too High light, light up. Is there anything I can do to try to troubleshoot this? About a year after I first purchased it I had some problems and I was sent a new motherboard. It has worked great since then with no problems, until now.

Make sure the float was not inverted on the post and that the float is not near a magnetic field. Short of that being the culprit, if you send it in I will do my best to diagnose and repair it.

Thanks for the quick reply, maybe this can help you narrow it down. When I plug it in the too high light lites up and the alarm sounds, it stays solid both the light and the alarm. The too low light flashes the entire time. Maybe that will help figuring it out.

If both lights are on the usual culprit is the controller got wet, their is some sort of major short or board damage. Have you opened the controller to take a look?

No I havent opened it up yet. I couldn't have gotten wet because it was in a tubberware container from when it left the old tank till it went on the new one. Ill take a look and see if I can find anything.

Just opened it up. Everything looks perfect to me. nothing discolored or corroded. Now im really confused haha

rvitco, can you PM me your info so I can send this thing your way to get it fixed? Thanks for your help!
