Osmolator pump is crazy noisy

It seems to be getting worse every day still works just sounds like you ar strangling a cat any suggestions?

How old is the pump? Has it ever been used with any sort of calcium or KH additive? Have you tried just tipping it upside down to purge any trapped air and is it suspended so it is not resting on a hard surface it can resonate against?

It is about 2 years old I dose a small amount of Kalk but is mix it well in advance and the pump is suspended 1" above bottom of top off tank. I will try turning it ove never thought of the air issue thanks.

The pump generally lasts 2-3 years, when running it with kalk the life is shorter, I think the best solution is just to replace the pump, they are readily available from any of our dealers and cost about $20.
