Osmolator pump noise

Roger, I've been running an osmolator since Christmas and it has been working well. A few days ago the pump started making a loud whining sound but seems to be functioning OK. The unit is only a few months old so I wouldn't expect the pump to wear out. Do I need to replace the pump or just let it play out?

The osmo pump sometimes develops a whine, it tends to fix itself in a few weeks. I am not sure what is the cause but mine does this and then the next time you refill the reservoir it is gone.
