Osmolator pump runs when power cycles

I want to prevent the pump from operating during a power cycle. (My controller shuts off osmolator during a feeding then back on)

Is there a way to set it up this way?

Secondly, how do I account for top off for water loss when skimming wet? I want to minimize salinity swings, but cannot always determine how much salt water I am losing vs. evaporation.

The only thing you could do is open the controller and turn down the pump as described on page 42 and 43 so less water is added, the pump always runs briefly on start up.

If you know the volume of skimmate removed in a week, that would be the amount of saltwater lost and you would simply add that much saltwater to a weeks worth of top off water.
