osmolator question

my osmolator stop working, the sensors seem ok, but the pump doesn't turn on, what can cause that, thx

So, the display indicates water levels and pump on, just the pump doesn't turn on? Either the pump is not connected properly, the connection is corroded or the pump is bad.

thx for the suggestions, I check the line and it is good, when I reconnect the pump it turn on and now its dead, so will assume is the pump and will order a new one,

Quick question so I dont start a new thead on a simple question.

On the Osmolator Power adapter, it has a switch for 9v or 12v. Whats the difference in performance when switching from one to the other? I have mine hooked up to a Kalk stirrer. What do you recommend I set it at? 9v or 12v?

I don't mind, I used only 12v when there is more head pressure, otherwise 9v, remember the kalk stirrer does the job of the mixing, and as always the slower kalk is added the better,

You leave the 2 screws on one side alone and insert the pump wire and tighten the screws to clamp the wires in place. At 12V the unit pumps more, at 9V it pumps less. I generally prefer 9V as the pump will last longer. 12V is best though if using a calcium dispenser or the old Osmolator 3150.
