Osmolator stopped working

My Osmolator stopped working. I followed all instructions on diagnosing it and this is what I found.

I unplugged my controller, I cleaned the optical sensor and float sensor with vinegar. With everything clean and dry I supplied power to the controller. All the lights came on and the alarm sounded at the same time for about a second or two. Then the Red Too Low Level light came on for a second or two. Then the Yellow Pump on light came on and the pump ran for about 10-15 seconds and the the light and pump turned off and the Green Level light came on and stays on. I believe this indicates that the Optical sensor is bad. Is there anything else I can do? If not where do I need to send the controller to be repaired or do I just have to buy a whole new unit?

Yes, this would be an optic sensor problem, they strongly discourage us form sending or selling sensors uninstalled as the controller should be calibrated to the sensor and we can only do that here. How old is the controller?

Yes of course, just include a note with return address and phone number.

The symptoms point pretty clearly to an optic sensor issue so in this case I only need the controller with attached sensors.

I mailed it out and you should receive it by Friday they said.
