osmolator wont turn on

I just received my tunze osmolator from bulkreefsupply and went to set it up this weekend and read all directions, read different post on here about it and watched YouTube videos on its setup(which you must admit there's really not much to setting up). After all that I can't get the controller to turn on, none of the leds or alarms come on, only thing is when I manually push up the float switch I hear a clicking inside the controller which only happens when it is plugged in. Am I missing something or is it just faulty equipment?
