OT animal cruelty DO NO OPEN IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH

The dirtbags who live by my girlfreinds house kill all of the stray kittens. Everytime a neighbor finds one, they call the police, and they give the kids warnings even though they admit to doing it. The kids parents just got out of jail. I mean it is sick, the things they are doing to these poor KITTENS! I am worried about my girlfriends safety as well. Any ideas about what to do? My mom said We should try to get somebody to write a letter to the newspaper but her mom is not really very smart so I wouldnt expect her to actually do it. I am concerned about posting how these kittens are being found. It is really disturbing, if you want to know I will post it but I'll tell you I wish I never knew all the details.
 
have you contacted the SPCA?i think they might like to hear about this.maybe you could contact the police and go over the officers head and talk to a supervisor.if these kids are doing this stuff you say,its just a matter of time before they kill a person.
 
wait, but I dont want these kids thinking that her mom is makeing the calls. I dont want to endanger her family you know?
 
anyone could have called.if these kids are the bastards you say they are then the whole neighborhood will want them gone.so whos to say you called?they wont make you give your name or anything,you are helping them do there jobs.
 
Definately contact the SPCA and the sherriff's office. If they don't do anything them it's time for the newspaper and channel 8. I agree with hawk, there is a very strong correlation between cruelty to animals and then violence escalating onto people. Anybody that hurts a defenselass animal deserves alot more than a talking to. I'd like to get my hands on them, I can assure you they would not be so keen on hurting little animals when I get done. Please do follow up with this no matter how far you have to go. Sometimes it just takes being persistent. We had a serious problem with some very aggressive large dogs that a neighbor would not keep contained. It took alot of calls, affidavits, and several months but the dogs were finally removed.

agreed 1000 percent.like laura said be persistant and if you have to call the news channels.the news always loves a story like this,and would definately investigate.and like i said go over the street officers head and talk to a commander.
 
Thats what I said to my girlfriend when I told her to give the lady who calls the cops all the time All the info I got and the ideas about the newspaper and news. She didnt want to do it so I am going over there tommarrow. If she doesnt want to get involved I'll contact you being as I am only 17 it would probably help to have an adult with me...
 
Seriously Playa someone needs to do something about that , thats horrible man, punk kids!!!

Seriously if ya dont want to get involved let me or someone else call on them. I will have no prob doing that for ya. How old are these kids are they teens or older idiots?
 
amen Amheck. I am also more than happy to call and report if needed. I doubt these types would go after somebody who might fight back Playa, that's why the little bullys choose something that can't fight back. In the unlikely event they did go after your GF or her Mom, they can defend themselves where an animal has no chance. Too bad these little jerks are too cowardly to pick on somebody their own size, I've got something for them. I wouldn't give a crap if they knew it was me or not, I'd tell them it was me. In the case of the neighbor with the dogs, I went straight to her house, knocked on the door and told her about her dogs. I also warned her that if they went after me again it would be the last time and that I would call animal control each and every time I saw them out roaming the neighborhood. I did and several other neighbors also finally began reporting until the problem was solved. This also set an example for some other folks who were a bit lax about securing their roaming dogs.

Definetly take action, if not i will do it, i care for all animals and this is a prime example of the evil nature of human beings, i just got finished watch the ghosts of Abu Ghraib, which is basically a documentary how the US government is torturing middle easterns for crimes they did not commit and accusing them of being affiliated with terroism...quite disturbing, but seriously playa, give me their information and i will make sure this hits the media.
 
I agree with everyone above - if you don't take action you are no better then them - at least that is the way I look at things. Give me their address PLEASE I can call I have a phone - don't just write stuff here on RC go to the SPCA web site and type.

DON'T JUST STAND THERE AND WATCH - DO SOMETHING!
 
Contact your local animal control office. AC officer generally will do something about animal abuse. Sadly most police officers are so over stretched and understaffed they will not have the time to arrest a family full of kids unless they catch them red handed in the act. There are to many laws protecting goons like that makeing it super hard to convict if an officer or strong witness does not see them doing it, kind of like DUI, many drunks get away with nothing due to not being able to be placed behind the wheel when an accident occured. Animal control on the other hand will generally run with these kind of cases. Ive also seen AC officer contact child services and the such and have children removed from homes after finding parents wheer encourageing certain behaviors.
As far as retribution goes you are correct to have concerns. Nearly every shift I see the drama unfold from little neighborhood brawls, some just words, some much worse. Reporting the crimes and not giveing a name is on way to do it. In this day and age confronting neighbors head on can be a bad idea. I once had a house fire that was set by a 6 year old in the middle of the nite. Apparently the kid who lived in the house had stolen a toy from the arsonist, so instead of just stealing it back he wanted to ensure the kid had no new toys to play with. I am in no way saying dont get involved, just do it smart. Law enforcement and AC are accustomed to handleing anonomous complaints, just be sure to follow through if it happens again and or you have more evidence to report. Good luck, seems like your off to make the correct steps here.
