OT-Animal shelter....

Anyone know of an animal shelter near the belleville area? or one on the way to gateway? my girlfriends little cusin found some kittens who where abandend.....and they need to go to a shelter because they are so young.....anyone know of one?

they only appear to be a few weeks old, they look pretty bad to, I am ganna try my best with formula, I dont think the shelter will take them, so I am ganna feed them formula thorugh eyedropers, my mom and dad use to breed dogs, so they use to take care of the runts of the litter and agreed to try to save them.... they might not make it, they look like they have bad eye infections....and ones legs are broken

There is a Human Society in Bellevelle on route 15, very easy to find.

do you think they will take them because they are so young?

They might. However, this time of year there are a bazillion kittens being taken to shelters and if there is no room for them or the people don't feel like messing with them they may be euthanized.

There is a group that is a rescue site, they come to the O'Fallon PetSmart every month, so you might try and call Petsmart.
