Does any one have any PDF terrariums set up?
I just set a tank up and looking for some local darts.

I was looking for any breeders or stores that may carry them for sale in Dade or Broward...there are none in Palm Beach County

Thanks for any info!

Theres a place by Hillsboro and powerline. The specialize in frogs, turtles, and snakes. Idk remember the name but I'll try to figure it out and update you if I do, I think they close @ 8 so you might be able to give them a call.

really? what do u have? PM me :)

can you pet them?

Yes...they are not poisonous in captivity, they are poisonous in the wild because of the insects that they eat...even if you touched one in the wild it would have to make contact with bodily fluids ( reason for using the poison on darts) or ingested lol at most if u touched one in the wild you would get a slight rash...We have prob felt worse touching a bristle worm :P

they are pretty small tho..

I have this vision of a red eye tree frog next to your dart frog and thinking how great that picture would be.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! They really are cool, and these are tiny...they get to be about 2-3" when fully grown and ofcourse there is the thumbnail's that stay really small...about the size of a thumbnail lol

I am also settiing up a Paludarium for three Costa Rican Red Eye Tree frogs...a frog collection isn't comlete without them mirite? :D

If you want to look at some cool stuff go to dendroboard :)

Yay! got my Cobalts this morning for my Zoomed :D

One was in a photo shoot mood

thanks WVfrogger for the purdy froggies!

Do you have these guys separate from each other? I know mixing diff types of color morphs are frowned upon on the dendro boards. Where did you get them though? Locally? Im looking to get a male for my female azerus, she just killed off my previous azerus which turned out to be another female... :( Id also want to start another tank for cobalts or a pair of leucomelas. Let me know. Thanks.

I have them all separate..the Azureus are in a 20H and these guys are in a 18x18x24 Zoomed :)
The Azureus I got locally from a guy here in Royal Palm Beach...he has more Azureus for sale..look him up on dendroboard, his board name is GSXR_MURRHEE

Thanks!

Thats the guy i got my azerus from, lol. Didnt know he still had them breeding. Do you know if he has a more mature, larger male? Or just baby froglets?

You usually buy a culture of flightless fruit flies and then you keep creating new cultures with the original culture. almost like raising phyto or rotifers.
