OT: Anyone want a Ferret?

I have a ferret that I need to find a new home for. We rescued him last year from the cold weather. Someone left him at the door at Petland one morning in a box. They let my wife take him home, because he was older than all of the babies they had at the time. He was never meant to be permanent, but we have never really tried to find him a home either. If anyone is interested let me know. I would like to find a home for him within the next week. He is very sweet and is very active when you let him out of his penthouse .

I had a ferret and he would get kinda "musky" smelling if he wasn't bathed on a regular schedual but I think if they are fixed that takes care of that. You boy would LOVE a ferret Chris. Mine had a huge personality and was real fun.

Yeah, they are great animals. They do have a skunkish odor if you do not descent them. He is both neutered and descented. Most Marshall ferrets that you will buy in pet stores come that way. If you guys know anyone that would like to give him a home let me know.

If I were closer... I've had two since college and they quickly became part of the family. They are not an easy animal to care for, though. They can be messy, steal everything you have, need attention at times that many are not available to give attention, etc. I raised them when I was a teenager, so I love ferrets. Not an easy one to keep for the first time, but they definitely bond with you.
