OT- Avatar help

How does everyone get those pictures as their avatars? Excuse my ignorance, but I can't seem to figure it out.

Ok, I figured out how to put it as the avatar, I just need to reformat it. Do you know of any programs that can do this?

Regular old MSPaint will allow you to resize it and save it as a .jpg or .gif

p.s. How's the skimmer working for you?

The dkimmers working great, Mayo. It pulled more stuff out of my tank in 1 1/2 weeks than my Prizm took out in a month.

How do you reformat it as .jpg or.gif in MSPaint?

Click on "Save as", and chose the file format. (.gif is usually the smallest)

Nice. Were they good? You now how sometimes live performances don't go so well.

They weren't too bad, not the best performance I've ever seen, but I think it was their first large scale event.
