oh yeah...we were ROCKIN tonight. Holy Cow...thanks guys. and Shawna, you are SO RIGHT....i totally love my job. Once we are past all the hard work it's a party every night. Don't ask about the Stoli prop....crew dumped the real stuff from the prop bottle to an ice tea bottle and replaced prop with water. WOOT! When things get rough, we now have the band asking where the ice tea is. LMAO.

wow...wow, wow, wow. 180 invited guests to preview....and we ROCKED. there wasn't a dry eye in the house. During intermission, i go out to the audience to retrieve a prop key that is thrown out there during ACT I....and a woman got my attention and handed me a program...she was shaking and her eyes were filled with tears..."are you the stage manager? someone told me to look for you. Would you, could you, take my program and get as many autographs of this wonderful cast for me?" Gotta tell ya...even as I type this, i'm tearing up myself. THIS...is why i work so hard. After the show was over, and Mandy, myself and my crew were resetting the stage, so many people came up to the edge and told us how moved they were about the performance...especially the ones who had never seen it before...and how it had touched them to the point that they felt their lives, and their outlook on life, had been drastically changed.

Opening night, tomorrow, Saturday, has a presale of 240 seats. It will sell out by the end of today I am sure. Sunday is already sold out. Good seats are still left for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Thursday is very open. Next weekend will be the next to sell out within the next few days.

I look forward to the reactions of the audience members over the next week....I may be exhausted...but the journey has been well worth the destination.

AMAZING OPENING NIGHT! STANDING ROOM ONLY (actually sold 5 standing seats at the same price), STANDING OVATION (before we even got to curtain calls)....the audience comments were SO favorable...comparing the show to the original at the Nederlander in NYC. Today's show has 200 presold as of right now. Walk-ups should be able to get good seats. Box office opens at 1pm for 2pm show. Good seats still left for Weds., Thurs., Saturday (filling up) and Sunday. We will probably add another performance Sunday night.

Reviews so far have said there is no difference between our production and the Broadway show.
