I know there are alott of bird people on here just wondering what everyone uses to clean the mess up. I have had birds for years and never found a really good solution. scrubbing bubbles is about the best I found but you have to move the bird when you use it.

Our Caique is trained to do his business on the glass coffee table when he's not in his cage. Therefore, a little Windex and a paper towel does the job. Several times a year I wheel his cage outdoors and wash it with soap and water and a rinse with the hose. I soak food dishes, brackets, fasteners, etc. in soapy water and give all the perches a good wash too.

There are a number of options.
Poop off works as DC pointed out.
Also "Pooh-Radicator" (pic included) is good and entirely bird safe.
I use it for regular cleanings. Available at Birds Unlimited in Webster and perhaps some other shops.

Some other options are: (and good for heavy build up)

Both regular soapy water or a mix of Windex & water work with good scrubbers as tools. abrasive side sponges etc...
BUT make sure after cleaning with either of those you re-clean or "rinse" with plain clean water to remove any soap or windex residue. As some birds are sensitive to any product like that. It's completely safe though. As long as your sure it's cleaned off before returning your bird(s) to the Cage / perch etc..
