$400 including Cali cage. Cockatoos bond to one person only and can be agressive toward anyone else. This was my bird that bonded to my wife. The thing is in love with her. Not much vocabulary but it talks quite a bit: waves and says Hello Angel; G'bye Angel; Whatcha doin, hmm? copies sneezes and coughs; says hello when the phone or doorbell rings (even on TV).
