Don't ask me, I'm wrong.
Figured I'd see if anybody here might have any idea!
I have a laptop that has been on my home network previously. I unhooked everything recently to drywall my basement and when I went to hook everything back up yesterday I am unable to connect the laptop to my modem.
I am able to get on other unsecured networks around the house so I can assume the problem is not with my Laptop. And I am able to reach the internet through my modem with the hard wire connection on the desktop.
I have tried changing the WEP pass phrase and also tried changing to an unsecured network, The laptop shows I have full signal strength from the modem but when it tries to connect it just sits there for a minute looks like its trying to connect but then nothing.
Anybody have any experience with this?
It is a 2wire wireless modem and router
