OT : Drag Bike

A little off topic, but I had to tell someone and my wife isw tired of hearing about it. Took my new Drag Bike over to Gateway Raceway tonight. Ran a best of 9.55 seconds in the quartermile at 139.26 Miles Per Hour. I don't think I'll ever fall asleep.

going 139 on a bike isnt hard to find yourself doing.. its doing it in 9.5 seconds thats the hard part! congrats

nice, I would like to take mine sometime just to see what it would do. My old Mustang ran an 11.1 on street tires in the quarter! I'd be very interested to see what my R1 would do...what nights do you guys go out there?

Wednesday's are test and tune so that is the best time to try it out. Plus it's only $20.00 to try it. Watch it though it's addicting. Oh wait kind of like reefing. Actually even the 139mph is hard since this is a Harley.

Fastest car I ever had over there was 13.1 on it's best run. But I drove it everyday and it didn't break down (well not much! :lol: ) It was a 73 Satellite Sebring Plus that I had made into a Roadrunner clone and a 340 out of a late 60's 6 pack car. 2.71 gears (never got around to changing them) and a 3500 stall and a 560ish lift cam on rollers. I just about stayed under the stall speed the half the time (and even on the highway)! :lol:
The only trophy I ever got was on a car that ran 15.3! But it did it consistently every time and I never broke out. It was just a little Dodge Omni I put a turbo motor in and it had to run in modified stock since that motor didn't come in that particular model.
