Bob's steak and chop house - pricey but the porterhouse is among the best you can get anyplace

El Guero Canelo on 12th is awesome if you want a less formal approach.

Sir Vezas!! 100%. Awesome tacos, Awesome Happy hour(half off draft beer and apps), cool club card. Me my girlfriend and her sister went there for $17, stuffed our faces and I had a 25oz beer. With club card you get 1 point for every $1 and 100pts gets u a $10 credit. We are regulars haha. Love El Charro too. And conveniently they are family with Sir Vezas so the club card accumulates and works both places.

Kingfisher/ Blue fin - never had a bad meal at either of their restaurants.
Nobel Hops - Wisconsin Cheddar Burger w/ Bacon Jam, and Decedent IPA on draft...hell yes.
Too many Mexican joints to list.

Mr ans(sushi), Flemings (steak), la parilla suiza (mexico city style mexican), bjs, el guero Canelo, gavi(italian). there are a lot of different mexican restraunts.

Rocco's Little Chicago has decent pizza. I've heard their wings are really good too but it is a long drive for me to get down there.

They have a really awesome 25cent wing night (wed I think...) and awesome wings except the A** burner. I'm scared of that one for obvious reasons. Wing night tends to be at least a 30min wait for a table however. Great group event in my experience.

I like Zin Burger. It's the only place I'll get my burger rare! They have a Kobe beef burger that will just blow your mind! The catch 22 is that any other burger just tastes horrible now, so I don't eat any other burgers (which I suppose is great for keeping weight down!)
