I've contemplated getting the 360, now that the second batches have come in. Basically, I'd only be buying it for this one game. Unfortunately, the Microsoft library will always pale in comparison to Sony's.
Question is, am I patient enough to wait for the second batch of PS3's? I better just go stare at the tank

You know Ticks me off - I had to run out and buy a Nintendo Game Cube Just so Husband could play newest Installment of Resident Evil.
I do Like Resident Evil, but As I look at other games for GC I get more and more frustrated. I think the GC was created for Children!
Why Couldnt they Just keep Resident Evil on the PS2 or 3 for that matter.
My PS2 needs to be replaced, I am glad I held off tho - Looks like Its going to be an expensive X-mas this year.

You know I've played the privious two Halo's, and honestly they can't hold a canddle to the Tom Clancey games on PC as far as a first peoson shooter goes. But they were fun to just run though. I don't think I'd buy a 360 just for that game though. I think I'd rather wait for the next playstation than the X-box.

totalK, i know how your husband is about resident evil, i am likethat too BUT i am a legend of zelda nut. inorder to play the next game (the wind waker) i had to get a game cube. i had to use up my b-day and x-mas, the thing counted as a presnt for both, and was my only present!!! nintendo better not make a game i really want for the new system or i will be ticked as i cannot aford it!!!
the next zelda game should be for GC w/bonus features you can only acsess on the new game system..thank god. and they better not change their minds, i mean i have read that nintendo is in trouble and hope the new zelda game (twilight princess) will save their butts, they better not try to increase that by forcing the hundreds of zelda fans to buy the new system inorder to play the new zelda game (because i will spend my food money to play it!!!!)
and i agree with the GC being a kids thing, i mean look what they did to the last zelda game, it was a freaken cartoon (but was funny and fun to play but many zelda fans hated it) the next one looks like a neat gothic fantasy game and will be the first zelda game to be rated teen. WOOOOO
i'm also waiting for the PS2 to get cheep so i can sample the finial fantasy games and kingdom hearts. i really wanna play them...

i played metroid prime, got half way through it before i sold it, the game was fun but a little nerve racking and taking up too much of my time.... that and it is not a game that is enjoyable to stand by and watch, my sister is happy wacthing me play zelda, pikmin, or animal crossing but the motion of metriod makes you car sicK! i watched a friend play it and knew just what she ment, it does give the watcher motion sickness if you are not the one actually playing it.

I guess I am the crazy one. I have the X-box 360 ( Was out in the cold for 17 hours in front of Best Buy to get it on release. ) I have played the hell out of it and do enjoy it. I will be going after the Nintendo Wii when it comes out. Zelda will be released for the Wii and GC. I am not sold on the PS3 yet.
