OT Home security alarms

We've got Platinum. I can't say anything good or bad about them. We did get what I thought was a good deal on the install though.
The monthly fee is not too bad and I definitely like it when I travel out of town. It makes my wife feel secure with our 10 week old too. It is nice how it has a fire alarm too.
I have accidentally hit the panic (lock and unlock buttons) while in my pocket. I disarmed it in a few seconds, but we never got a call from the security company. I'm not sure how long that the alarm has to be going off, but I know it's more than 5 seconds. I've been debating setting it off for increasing amounts of time to see how long it takes for them to call.
