Malaware attack is back. I can't open internet explorer without my computer going crazy with popups. I downloaded malawarebytes program that got rid of multiple malaware programs on my computer but once I open internet exploerer they all come right back, not allowing me to access the internet. I am using my dads desktop to write this.

Still not sure what to do.

I used to run firefox but switched back to IE a few months back. I was going to try and DL firefox again to see if it works but I don't have access to the Internet.

Thanks

Hey there....one of my tasks in my "job description" is computer tech.

go to: www.download.com

Download: Malwarebytes

Run this program (quick scan is all that is needed), quarantine everything you see. Once this is done, restart your computer. Once your computer is back on, go back to www.download.com and download:

Avast Antivirus

It out-ranks Norton and McAffee by a long-shot and is free. Also, Malwarebytes will find and delete stuff that both Norton and McAffee never pick up in a scan. Also, most virus's cannot prevent Malwarebytes from running like they can other programs.

Try to do this. If you can't access internet, download and save it to a CD or flash-drive, and then install it that way.

99% sure this will work. Lots of rogue virus's going around right now and it sounds like this is what you have.
