I'm no pc geek, but I do spend about half of my working days online looking for various information. I've had 0 problems with Firefox and find it 100x easier to use. You can set-up easy to access bookmarks on a bar so that they are accessible (similar to the quick start bar at the bottom of windows) and if you commonly have more than one page open at a time, the tabs make it easier to move between these. Also, you can easily download extensions that allow you to do things like have a weather forecast and radar in the browser, drag-and-drop files to upload them (instead of having to use the browse bar), and too many others to list. Because it is open source, people can make their own extensions to fix "problems" with the software or to have it perform functions that they think will make it better. Just my $.02. I have nothing against microsoft or internet explorer, but this is a great product even for non-computer geeks.
