Monterey Bay Aquarium is always nice to see. Great place to take the family and see their awesome exhibits everyone should go there at least once .

Monterey Bay is really cool, went there 2 years ago and they were doing some remodeling. Have they finished it? People say that Monterey is the best aquarium in the US but IMO the wild reef at the shed compares to the Monterey exhibits.

Monterey Bay has far more to do and see than Shedd. Monterey Bay is sort of done, but I think they are getting ready for another multimillion dollar expansion to rival the Atlanta Aquarium. Speaking of which, I am going to Atlanta in September after I get my new Canon 5D. Hopefully I'll get some great shots. I was not very happy with the Sony on these shots, it needs a better resolution at higher ISO rating to really work well.

Your gonna like the 5D almost purchased it myself ,but it dosent suit my speed needs, but a great camera, Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach Ca is a very nice aquarium and so is Scripps just north of San Diego not well known but indeed nice.
