OT: My Laptop And Vista

ok you're going to need to download a couple of things.

here is the site i used with all the links to the downloads.

one edit i would make to this list:
instead of ObjectDock or MobyDock, go download RocketDock from download.com. just search it.

other than that this page is step by step. it tells you how to make it look right on OR you can download a few of the options (this is what i did) and make it look very authentic.

i saw that flyakiteOSX, its an AIO package with everything. it was nice but i liked having FULL control over each individual thing. after putting all the options on i have decided to return to flyakiteOSX because it uses less memory and doesnt have as many programs running at once. the other way can have you running like 6 programs in the background. (very RAM consuming)

If you want to see some incredible desktops go to youtube and search for Ubuntu. It is a linux distribution but is extremely easy to install and configure. You can download a fully usuable version that boots from your CD drive and doesn't require an install. It will not touch your current OS installation at all and will run on both PC's and Macs.

i already mentioned Ubuntu previously. i do like it alot. the program compatibility was my thing. i really LOVED the look though A+ i used it extensively for a few months then decided it was go back time. i missed my music production software. Also Xubuntu is amazing, and im not sure about Kubuntu but i have heard good things.
