I know some of you do plants as well as fish. I have some tropical plants, citrus & jasmines among others. They do great outside in the summer (Meyer lemons!) but they have a tough time over the winter despite being directly in front of a huge South facing window.
Would a par30, 5000k LED help or does it not have the correct spectrum that an incandescent grow light bulb have? I would love to just get a bulb and put it in a clip on lamp. The LED bulb has my chaeto growing like crazy and I was hoping it would do the same for my tropicals. It's about time to bring them inside and I hate seeing them drop their leaves.
