OT: Reccomendations for Italian Restaurants in OC?

rxdi ... thanks for the hyer! Still torn between the two. Either way, I'm going to end up going to BOTH SOMETIME -- just which one for tonight :)
 
I don't know how close you are to Yorba Linda, but La Bettola is awesome. The head chef was the former head chef at Antonello's in Costa Mesa. It is on the corner of Yorba Linda Blvd. and Lakeview, next to a Firestone Tire center. I doesn't look like much from the outside, but you can't get better Italian food.

rxdi ... I took the finbar route tonight ... WOW! EXCELLENT food and the service was TOP NOTCH! Thanks for the GREAT suggestion!

noschmo, you have obviously never had real Italian food. The small "cucina tipica" (typical kitchen) in Italy have the most incredible food you will ever taste. After going there, we came back and started searching for real Italian here, but it is just not the same. There are some great restaurants here, but they do not have the fresh ingredients available in Italy.

In Orange County, we like Ti Amo in Laguna, Cafe Il Farro in Newport and Marco Polo, also in Newport. Also, Romeo's in Laguna.
