OT reef help.. DC motors

I just was tossing around the 3v motor due to an easy circut. I wasnt sure about reliability or POT heat.

Is $10 cheap enough?

Just ask Dr Google for PWM motor controller kit. They're so prolific and cheap it doesn't make much sense to build your own for a low-tech application like this

If you can work with a slightly higher voltage DC motor you could probably do this with the controllers from Cana.
