OT: Tattoo's

When it comes down to it you're paying pennies a day for somthing that's going to last you a lifetime - expect to spend around $200 an hour for a good artist.

You should check out goodfellas tattoo in orange. I got a tat done by larry there, I liked work I saw from him and was happy with my end result. Another guy you should definitely check out is steve soto, the owner of the place, he's good, especially with portraits. I've also heard good things about bad influence tattoo in fountain valley. The owner(can't remember his name) and scorpion do good work as well, I've seen some of their work done on friends and their portfolios, good stuff.

Steve is definitely an awesome artist. Another guy out there is a guy named Jun, this kid is like 19 and is one of the best for Japanese and Black and Grey.

called them.they want 4.800 and would take 5-10 sittings.:eek2:

try the tattoo removal program at Providence Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills(hopefully they still have it)..I believe it's $150 per treatment but there used to be a low-income program there where you only paid $75 per treatment if you qualify.

The program is/was there for people who need their tattoos removed for Gang reasons, if it's inhibiting your ability to get/keep employment, inhibiting the quality of your life, etc.

*Tattoos with the color green in them are the hardest to remove.

The owner name Bob. 90% of my work was done by him and Tuan (Scorpion)....

i have a full sleeve by Bugs @ Tattoo Lounge in West LA. Expensive yes but widely regarded as one of the top 3 guys in the world. He is so good, when I go to other shops the artists that work there give me respect because I have a sleeve by him. I know that's weird but it happens at every shop I go to I'll post pictures as soon as someone else is around to take them. His website is www.bugsartwork.com

Whatever you do,never get a Tatto0 done by "Lucky" @ Tattoo Asylum in Venice.

I spent 3x the original amount to get the mess he made fixed & that was AFTER he tried to fix it twice.

You would be LUCKY to get a good tattoo from there... See this is the problem, way too many scratchers out there as opposed to good artists. I am going to do my apprenticeship in about a year and will not be tattooing anyone until I am confident in my skills and would be happy with that kind of work on my body.

For a good laugh type in Tattoo into Craigslist, I would take some of these people out if they ever gave me work this bad...

One of my favorites... http://www.myspace.com/Tracyraytattoo

he charges a lot, and the wait is long... but his tattoos are very good. a lot of asian themes, not just the dragons and tigers, but japanese, indian, SE-asian influences. look him up on myspace.com/mikeledgerinc

Ian that is insane... I have seen those pics before. Ben Grillo is the bomb, I want some micro stuff from him sooooo bad.
