One of my local favorites is Grover Hot Springs. Its about 30 miles east of lake Tahoe. The campground is very nice. The hike up to the falls is nice. Town isn't too far away if you need anything. Best of all are the hot springs. You can sit in 104 degree mineral water looking up at the top of the glacial valley.
