OT - Who knows Auto cad?

I just installed Autocad and I don't know where to start. Who know this program that can help to teach it to a rookie?

Get a book. It's not so easy that someone can just post and your on your way. Went to school for 2 years and autocad is part of the reason why I dropped out.

i used autocad in high school 12 years ago...lol.... I dont think i can be of much help.

2008 they switched everything. its a diffarent formant then the previous years. I messed with it a little, but it requires more messing around for me. I've been using 2004, 2006 for almost 7 years now. just keep messing around with it! u'll learn the majority of it, just won't know all the secrets.

I use an "earlier" version daily for construction work.What are you using the program for?If you're doing engineering/civil type work then I may be able to help(most of the versions stick to the same formats for importing/exporting points etc).If you're doing architecteral,then good luck,as those guys can't even make a square with right angles.
