OT: Xbox controlers

My son lost the piece that hooks to the xbox durning our move, does anyone know where you can get just the little 6-9" piece that hooks the contoller to the Xbox..

I don't know why there is a break in the cord to begin with. I guess for kids like mine can loose the piece and have to buy a new one

Isnt that stupid that they even have that piece ?!!!
It is a scam so that you have to buy it again over and over, I am on my 5 or 6th one.

use electrical tape and tape it together so it doesn't come apart

How much did you pay?

I just found one on Ebay for .99 + 3.95 for shipping and it comes with 2 of them.

Here is what I found out why they come apart.

Xbox controller cables are designed to breakaway if someone trips on the wire, which keeps the Xbox from hitting the floor. And if the breakaway section gets lots, this Breakaway Cable is a sure-fire replacement.

Are you looking for an XBOX or XBOX 360 one? I might have an extra for reg. xbox, I'll check tonight. I like the breakaways, if you keep the system up high, you don't worry about it falling, or anything like that...pretty nice.

New games available this month for 360 are NFS Carbon, COD 3, Forza Motorsport 2(which is going ot be PHENOMENAL) and a few others. Yes, I'm excited.

i told the wife, i have to have halo 3. no matter what.
she understands.

i heard it went on presale today.
i might just go plop my money down. the week it comes out is the week i take off work.

Haha. That is what I did when Gran Turismo 3 came out. All gold on the liscense tests etc. Get your 360 and get online!
