OT: Xbox mod

Yeah I'm not a fan of the TSOP method, seen too many go bad.

I've done over 450 and only lost 3, and two of those were where the person had tried it themselves and then brought it to me when they failed.
So I've only had to replace one xbox for a customer. (My policy was; "If I break it, I replace it")

I had several people watch me do it and then go "That was so easy" and they went home and tried it only to toast their box.
They would then bring it to me and say "You made it look so easy!! can you fix it now?"

In my "Prime" I was turning out 6-7 boxes per night after work.
I had it down to a science where each box would only take 15 mins.

Ahh the good ole days!!!
It was funny, I was making more money at night modding xboxes at $50 per pop, than I was at my full time day job!!! And this was tax free too

I just love fixing them more than modding them. I had repaired a lot of machine where the user erase a critial file for a softmod. Never really did it for money though. I have since just focus on my tank.
