Well my tank has been up for about 2.5 months now.

I made the common noob mistake of not QTing... didn't think it was a big deal. Now I know it is.

Anyway this is what happened. Lost CBB, 2x clowns, and a small yellow/black striped damsel. :(

So now I have 1 fish left, a fairy wrasse, and he is doing awesome. No specks, eats everything no hesitation.

But just to be on the safe side I want to treat him for Marine Ich(using copper bought cupramine yesterday) also have Prazi-Pro. And leave him out for 8-10 weeks to insure no more Ich is in my tank

I'm gonna take him out put him in 10 Gallon QT using tank water.

Here are my questions. What else should I treat him with? In what order should I treat him? If I see no spots? Should/Can I treat him with copper? I really need help!

Thanks a ton!

What symptoms did you see with the fish you lost? Ich is just one of many reasons to use a QT with all new fish.
I treat all new fish with Cupramine and Prazi-Pro ( a de-wormer). If you even suspect ich, or another parasite, your DT must stay fishless for 10-12 weeks---there are still forms of the parasite in the tank. Please read the ich stickies above; lots of vital info. BTW; CBBs are really difficult fish, much depends on their origin.I think CBBs from the "Indo-Pacific" have an especially dismal track record. Australian fish generally do much better. I would wait until your tank matures and you have some more experience before buying another. Many don't survive long, even under perfect conditions. Also, I think a 40 gal tank is way too small for a CBB.
