ouestion about a new bta

i got 5-6 " bta sat he looks a little bleached light green the tips are a little purple his foot is firmly attached to the starboard i just tryed to feed him for the first time monday after work i gave it a small pea sized peice of fresh ocean perch but the tenticles wont hold it ary ideas or should i give it a few more days

A friend of mine just moved to Dallas and gave me his tank, which included two bleached and shrinking BTAs (he neglected the tank badly for about a month due to finishing school/getting a job/moving).
Anyways, they wouldn't eat for about a week, but after they settled in, they started taking krill. I've fed a little every day or two for the last week and a half or two weeks, and they have gotten their bubbles back and one is starting to show a little pink coloration on a few tentacles. They still haven't opened up fully yet, but they open up a little more every day.

All I can recommend is keep trying, and it will eat when it gets used to your tank.

Keep good water parameters and some nice lighting and they shoudl recover in about a week or two.
