Thank you erics3000,
Trying to place everything in the room so we could have easy access to all of the equipment was defiantly the plan.

Wow! Amazing build. I love the holding tanks set up.

Thank you Oldude,
The holding tanks are "the bomb" as Ed would say
We talked a lot about what we wanted the tanks to do for us and Ed developed every possible situation we could think of.

How did your Grand Daughter like the LFS?

What an amazing build guys, I have come away with so many new ideas for my new tank room! Can I ask where you got your holding tanks? If you have already posted that and I missed it I am sorry.

Thanks!

Dave

Sandy
She LOVED it. They had about a dozen false perculas in their frag tank and she picked one out and the LFS owner was chasing this thing around like crazy. I finally whispered in her ear 'get anyone you can as she can't tell the difference' :p
We eventually got two and as of this evening she is still trying to name them. Latest is Sylvester (for the boy) and Tweetie (for the girl) -- but that may change. They both have dark spots on them from trying to host in the Zoos. I assume they will heal.
She wanted every fish in the store. She wanted a Dory (Pacific blue Tang) and some others from the movie I can't remember. :)

No tang. I am pushing it by QTing two clowns without putting an ich magnet into the mix. I have read that you should only have one fish in QT at any one time. However when you want a pair of clowns or a school of Chromis or Anthias, what's a guy to do?? :(

I know..... I know...........
But when it comes to our grand babies.........
You buy 2 fish!!!

We had 3 out of 4 of our grand babies visiting today to celebrate Easter with us and we "LOVED" every minute of it!

LOTS of little finger prints on the front of the aquarium.

Nice tank and great thread !!

Sorry about the crash which must have really been heartbreaking.

If I may... I might be wrong but on the picture of your calcium reactor, it seems that your CO2 tank is not secured and does not have a collar guard...You might want to do something about that since these can be extremely dangerous if the gage gets accidentaly broken off...

Anyhow, I'm glad your tank is back on its feet and moving in a great direction !!

Good luck for the future !

If that's the case I agree with snadaud. I've seen a compressed gas tank go off like a rocket when the gauge/valve assembly was broken off after it was knocked over. Make sure you secure it well.
