Our begginer's tank. Macro shots

Thanks to all! It's great to read such comments for my own photos. :spin1:

Very nice. How big is your tank?
It is 250 liters display + 150 sump, it makes something like 66 gallons display + 40 sump.
How do you get a critter to sit still long enough to get 10 different focal planes?
As i said it was just my luck. They do it from time to time, you just have to catch the exact moment. My DSLR is always next to the tank with the macro lens on it. When i see something, i run fast. :D
yeah I was thinking the same. Mine don't sit still for 1 shot let alone multiple. Do you feed them something with tranquilisers in it :)
Now that sounds interesting, I will think about it.

I would need a better view of it's pinchers, those definitely help identify.

For what it's worth, they look rounded/blunt on the end of the part I can see, which is a good sign as those type are usually more of a scavenger than a killer, although all crabs can turn deadly if the circumstances are right.
