Our good friend Thomas Crockett has passed

I am very upset to say that I received a call from Thomas's sister Gale around noon today to tell me that Thomas has passed on. I hope not to offend anyone but Thomas was my closest friend in the Club and I just wanted to say this as I will miss him very very much. This is awful as we just lost another good friend ,Steve Seymour, last month to a freak accident. Thomas and I had not seen each other for about a week as he had been dealing with the recent passing of a sister this past week. I will write more later but for now, I am just sad to have lost another good friend. Michael R

Wow .. I considered Thomas a good friend as well .. I don't know what to say ... I will miss him and our talks very very much ...

Thomas was such a nice guy. I enjoyed seeing him at UA. He was a very interesting person to talk to. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and all who knew him.

Hard times.

Hard times.

:sad1:
It's hard to think of not talking to Thomas again. As I sit thinking of something to say about a gentleman and a friend I am stuck for words. Not for having nothing to say but how to write it and tell poeple what a great guy Thomas was.
I remember when Michael called me and told me of a guy he met in Pet City that was into the hobby and didn't have much to spend. In this hobby that usally means that you can only go so far. If you ever saw Thomas's first tank you would have thought that he was not hurting for $$$$$. That alone proved to me that money will not buy you a good looking tank, passion and true love of the hobby will get you results. It is nothing to do with what name your pump is or how big or bright your lights are. If your love and passion are not there for the hobby then forget it.
It is also going to be hard to not see Thomas with his good friend Michael, I feel for Michael at this hard time having lost another dear friend.
As I look at my tanks I would only wish that one day I too could have the passion and love for the hobby as Thomas did.

Thomas you will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
