It looks great Galen. Lots of potential....I really like the aquascaping you've done so far, lots of holes and overhangs.

Any idea on what kinds of fish you want? Are you planning to do any corals? (after your cycle of course :) )

Nice pictures!!

Sally, what's that reddish thing in the middle of that picture?

Galen, tank looks good! Are you planning on adding TBS or other type rock?

Today I found a turkey wing that decided to move and die I guess. I have no clue where it came from.

LOL It's new to me and the size is a 24" widescreen!
I didn't state it was real...just that it's my new reef. Goes to show we both have good taste then, huh?

Pat,

I think your bioload is too high with that huge white dogfish in your new aquarium. It looks like it doesn't even have room to turn around! For shame! ;)

 Too funny Brian!

Pat- Coincidentally I have the same reef too :)

Pat, th big red thing is a red dictyota that grew out of a turkeywing. We used to have two others in the tank but the turbos ate them right off the rocks. We also had some other neat looking red algae growing but again, the turbos took care of it. :( I'm hoping they leave this one alone. It gives a lot of color and movement to the tank. We just found some halemeda growing off one of the new Christmas Tree rocks. :)

Me too! I put an underwater clock in mine though! ;)

One of the decorator crabs will be executed tonight =( Found him nibbling away at my cup corals. I thoghut he was just cleaning them but I came back 2 hours later and he was still in the same spot and there was a bunch of tissue missing from an oterwise healthy colony. Theres atleast one other decorater in their, so hopefully he doesnt turn to the dark side.

Aren't you worried about stray electrical current causing RTN or STN in your SPS?

Brian

Nah...it's energy compliant! LOL

I guess we all have good taste to all have the exact same reefs!!

Jesse...you didn't want to listen when told what crabs to get out. Most people don't want to listen until after they destroy stuff.

Our decorator crabs never bothered anything in the tank. The only reason we no longer have them is because Harley ate them. :( Just like not all emerald crabs will eat bubble algae, not all decorators will "turn to the dark side". :) We kept mithrax crabs in our tank for almost a year (against a lot of advise), only relocating those that "turned". For the most part, they ate the bad algae and left the good stuff alone. Again, the only reason we no longer have any of those in the tank is......you guessed it!! Harley ate them!! LOL

They also ate your ricordia I remember you saying.

Yep, that one had "turned" and he was relocated to our lfs where he and a beautiful maroon and beige frog fish got up front and personal!! LOL

On the other hand, we had several that were in our tank and bothered nothing until Harley bothered them to their ultimate end. :)

Most crabs are hit and miss, except procelins, which we have none of due to.........yeah, darn that Harley!!!! :) Sometimes you luck out and they don't bother anything....othertimes they devour everything except what they are supposed to!!

Well your tanks so damn big that they just couldn't find the good stuff to eat! If you had a tank more or less on the size most of us do.....they sure would have found the good things to eat!! ;) :p

Hey everyone thanks fo the compliments. I do plan to add more rock with some life in it:) Just not sure of the kind. I love the tbs rock just dont know if it would be worth it for the little amount i still need. You cant beat what you get with their rock thats for sure
