Out of towner needs aqurium store info

Hey yall,
I'm from Alabama and in town for the week at a mass spectrometry conference. Anyone got suggestions for reef stores to check out?? The closer to the arch the better as that is where my hotel is. Thanks!

Theres a few around town thats worth the drive,all within 30 mins or so of downtown.

Gateway aquatics-The Corner Reef-Marine Solutions-Corals and More.

Im sure Im missing some but I cant think of anymore right now.

If your staying downtown theres a couple places I can recommend for food. Sauce on the side is a great place for calzones and white knight has one of the best burgers in town,it only seats maybe a dozen people or so and they close at 3 or 4.

i was pretty impressed with corals n more when we went there on pizza night.
a little out of the way from downtown area but well worth the drive imo!

Thanks for all your suggestions. Unfortunately the sticky doesn't have a lot of information on which ones are good and not so I thought I ask the question. I appreciate your responses and food suggestions.

If you're going to be here all week, you can probably hit them all.

Each store has its own perks, if you have time, you can probably make a route where you visit more than one each day if you plan it out right

If you do hit a couple in a day Gateway Aquatics and The Corner Reef are about 10 mins from each other. Marine Solutions and Corals and More are 5-10 mins apart as well.

Theres also an LFS called Urzi's Saltwater thats located on the in south city, I havent been there in a while and theyre only open from like 5-8pm during the week so you might wanna check their hours of operation before going there,although its honestly prolly the closest to downtown.

Also search facebook for the mentioned LFS,they usually have specials that you might want to take advantage of.

Also, If you're down town, Going out to MS or C&M in St Charles is about the same distance as catching a few of the stores in IL besides Corner Reef

Kingdom Aquatics

I say make a day of it and stop by all of them....
